6 months!

Today is my six month gluten-free-iversary! I am definitely feeling better and gluten-free life is easier. Things like this definitely help…and also help make you more friends. I’m only slightly kidding. My friends and I get together every week for Sunday dinners, which means I have to plan ahead and make sure there’s something I can eat. But I don’t want to feel different being the only one eating something, so I try and bring something everyone will enjoy. I absolutely love it when people try my g-free food and say, “Wow! This is really good!” as if they are shocked. Well, duh! Do you think I just eat bland, gross stuff all the time? No thank you.

I’ve been trying to decide what to bring to Super Bowl Sunday though and the jury’s still out. Everyone else will be having pizza, so these immediately caught my eye. I may have to do a test run today. Of course there will have to be some dessert involved too.

Living with my mom has been a saving grace recently. I feel like life became busy all of a sudden,  and if it weren’t for her, I would probably have eaten granola bars and yogurt for dinner every night. I am so appreciative that she has taken the time to plan new g-free, vegetarian meals and have them ready when I get home. Thanks for keeping me well-fed momma.

Alright, I’m off to make a cup of tea and look up some new recipes for tomorrow! Sounds like a great Saturday to me.
